Hello,

My name is Ms. Castaneda. I am super excited to be working with 8th grade and incoming 6th graders for the years 2019 - 2020.
​
I have a daughter who attends Texas State, a 10th grader daughter at Crockett High School and a 9th grader at Crockett High School.
​
I love my job and everything about helping students find themselves during this very difficult time called MIDDLE SCHOOL! I have been in education for 29 years working as a 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th grade teacher at Pease Elementary.

2018-2019 NJHS Important Dates
March 8, 2019 - Information meeting during PRIDE in front of the Counselor's Office
March 11, 2019 Pick up applications from the Counselor's Office
March 15, 2019 Last day to pick up an application from the Counselor's Office
March 11th - April 18th accumulate 5 points (10 hours) of community service
April 18, 2019 Final day to turn in applications (no exceptions)
Week of May 6, 2019 - Letters go out to students who are accepted into NJHS
May 21st Induction into NJHS 6pm in the cafeteria
